Sahrus Region-

Welcome to the Sahrus Region-

A recently discovered region found somewhere near the little-known region of Orre, Sahrus is an odd region that seems to have all types and all species of Pokemon from all over; from Kanto to Unova and maybe even beyond. Well known for its Dragontooth Ridge, where many Dragon-types come from all over biannually, Sahrus is a region that's slowly increasing in both human and Pokemon populations. Already, the region has its own Pokemon league, gyms, and Pokemon groups. However, with the recent surge of scientists and Pokemon trainers coming in from Orre, old, long forgotten groups may return to this new region.


Starters-

Although no new starters have been found inside of this region, common starters for new Pokemon trainers include:
Eevee, Pikachu, Starly, Meowth, Ralts, and Skitty.


However, for more older Trainers or trainers who start later, the starter pokemon are typically:
Charmelon, Grovyle, Croconaw, Gabite, Luxio, and Pidgeot.

Cities and Towns-

• Triveni Town - Home of the Sahrus region's Pokemon Research Center (run by Professor Trace) and the leaders of the first Pokemon gym (Vert, Rosso, and Azul). Lots of new trainers tend to start here.
  
  
• Port Amarrée - A city located right by the sea, Port Amarrée fairies in both visitors and new residents to the region daily. Notable places of interest are the city's lighthouse, the Kringler Club (a seaside bar which features various acts), and the city's seaports itself - namely for the sudden disappearance of a large cargo ship just a couple of days ago.
  
  
• The Under-2 - Named after the original Under that existed in Orre (which has since been closed down), The Under-2 is a subterranean city that's situated directly inside a chasm on the other side of Dragontooth Ridge- ...You know maybe this is why the original Under closed down! Aside from that, notable features about the city is its subway, its Under Grand Hotel, and its own Colosseum/Gym.

• Thieves' Landing - Settled in a small, secluded area somewhere on the island, Thieves' Landing is little known by the average pokemon trainer but very well known by the local police; especially for its vast collection of Pokemon poachers, thieves, and bits and pieces of various species of Pokemon. Any trainer in their right mind would avoid this place...
  
  
• Dragontooth Ridge - A range of mountains were Dragon-types of all kinds gather biannually. The reason why exactly is not yet quite known. Scientists presume their gathering is to find mates of a similar type and to lay their eggs in a safe location.

Gyms/Stadiums/Colosseums-

• Triveni Gym - Located a little outside of Triveni Town, this gym specializes in Grass-types by Vert, Water-types by Azul, and Fire-types by Rosso. Better come prepared!

• Stalagmite Colosseum - As its name indicates, the Stalagmite Colosseum (or gym, rather) is situated in the depths of the chasm that The Under-2 is located in. Due to the city's nature, the gym leader here (a girl by the name of Perrin) specializes in both Rock and Ground-types. Expect the need to bring mining gear in!

• Victory Gym - Located literally right in front of Victory Road, the last gym a trainer must challenge is a Dark-type orientated gym lead by ???. The gym is especially notable for its eerie appearance and the labyrinth you must go through to get to the gym leader. Rumors circulate around the odd gym, saying that the leader inside and her pokemon are almost like shadows themselves.
  
  
• Pokémon League - Only the Trainers who have conquered all Pokémon Gyms can challenge here. The Elite Four that reside here are Crystal (an Ice-type specialist), ??? (a Ghost-type specialist), ??? (a ???-type specialist), and Abraham (a Multi-type specialist)
